If a student has struggled with mental health concerns in the past, it is advised that they have a plan in place when coming to Tuscaloosa. Like most places nationwide, local psychiatrists currently have months-long waitlists. If a student will need to see psychiatrist in Tuscaloosa, it is highly recommended they secure a practitioner before moving into a residence hall or apartment.
